Sejarah Terbentuknya ASEAN

Sejarah : Latar Belakang Terbentuknya ASEAN | ASEAN ( Association of South East Asia Nations), atau Perhimpunan Bangsa-Bangsa Asia Tenggara (PERBARA), merupakan organisasi kerja sma regional negara-negara Asia Tenggara di bidang ekonomi, sosial, dan kebudayaan. Meskipun organisasi ini bertekad mewujudkan stabilitas dan keamanan kawasan Asia Tenggara dari Pengaruh asing, tetapi bukan merupakan organisasi politik. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari latar belakang berdirinya ASEANBerdirinya ASEAN didorong oleh beberapa faktor di antaranya sebagai berikut... 

a. Faktor intern (dari dalam), yakni setelah berakhirnya Perang Dunia II lahirlah negara-negara baru di Asia Tenggara. Mulcunya negara-negara baru ini pada umumnya banyak memiliki persamaan masalah, oleh karena itu perlu sikap dan tindakan bersama untuk mewujudkan stabilitas dan keamanan kawasan ini melalui ASEAN 

b. Faktor Ekstern ( dari luar ) , yakni akbiat krisis Indocina yang ditimbulkan oleh gerakan komunis yang berusaha menguasai seluruh Vietnam, Laos dan Kamboja (Kampuchea) sebagai negara komunis, maka negara-negara tetangga di kawasan ini merasa khawatir dan bersepakat menghadapi ancaman ini dengan membentuk ASEAN.
